Whitecloak Guild Policy as ordered by Eamon Valda ~
Main
Goal:
Provide a model guild of active players that work well as a team
and are respected by peers. This means training a guild of effective
and honourable fighters.
1.)
Guilding:
As far as I am concerned you have 1 character. Your WC. You are
expected to play your Whitecloak often. This guild is NOT
a shelter for the meak or inactive. I will allow you to play Whitecloaks
of different classes, but nobody needs multiple active 'alts'
to play effectively (not beyond 3 anyway).
The philosophy is that a few good men can handle any threat encountered.
3 to 4 skilled players should be able to effectively pk anytime.
The Whitecloaks should be a unified team of players that cooperate
well. This is a game, but it's always more fun to win. This
policy requires that inductees are familiar with mud basics and
with pk strategy. If you are caught "alt-hopping" expect to lose
your position on our team.
2.)
Player Killing:
This is most effectively accomplished with teamwork. This is the
main reason for the strict guilding policy. I would rather develop
a team of players who can work together than a bundle of relatively
skilled 'alts' that don't coordinate. This can only be achieved
with a DEDICATED team of active players, and it only takes
a handful. As always, White Cloaks seek out Darkfriends under
ANY guise, so you are free to fight with any guild except for
tinkers. Tinkers aid everyone, and continuing to receive help
is more advantageous than trying to stop them from aiding others.
3.)
Role Play / Behavior:
Keyword: Respect. Respect is a two-way street, respect
others and you will be treated with respect. Please act mature.
This is a game and the point is to have fun. The real fun comes
from overcoming challenges. Fighting someone who has no chance
is not only boring for you, but frustrating for the victim. It's
probably in your best interest to avoid killing 'lagged' or
LD players. "Ganging" newbies, multikilling, killing nakeds
are all frowned upon, so use wise discretion. ie: Remember how
boring Doom was after you set god mod and loaded weapons.
4)
Questing:
Please request and donate quest points for your quest prize. Quest
Eq is temporary, but guild improvements are permanent in comparison.
Feel free to reward yourself with EQ, but please keep in mind
the goal of the guild as well, which is to have one of the best
guild halls on the mud.
5.)
Guild Ranks:
Once you've showed willingness to participate and cooperate,
as well as your understanding of mud basics and ability to
pk, you will be promoted to a 'Trusted' rank based
on your class.
